The Kampala City Roads Rehabilitation Project (KCRRP)

Procurement Reference Number: KCCA/SUPLS/23-24/00057/2

  1.  Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of land along the Port Bell road corridor to be used for the construction of a Lorry Park and a Bus Depot.
  2. KCCA now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. Note: Land located within the vicinity of Uganda Prisons or other government facility of this kind shall not be accepted without express permission from the respective government Institution.
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may inspect the bidding documents from the KCCA website: https://www.kcca.go.ug/tenders; and obtain further information from the address below.
  5. The Bidding document in English shall be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon emailing a soft copy of the officially written application to: kcrrp.proc@kcca.go.ug; and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of UGX. 100,000/=.

    Note: Bidders who previously purchased the bidding document, and intend to bid again do not need to pay the bidding fee again.

The method of payment shall be online, through the KCCA e-Citie online payment system. The e-Citie system can be accessed from the KCCA website, https://ecitie2.kcca.go.ug/portal/; Payment instructions are also available at https://www.kcca.go.ug/tenders; Evidence of payment shall be included in the application email. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. The soft copy of the bidding document will be sent by email, to the applicant’s provided email address upon submission of the full application.       

  1. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 a.m. on Friday 5th September, 2025. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration. The Bid Securing Declaration must be in the form provided in the bidding document, and must be valid until Friday 25th April, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 11:15 a.m. on Friday 5th September, 2025.
  2. The key qualification requirements are: registered Power of Attorney, proof of statutory compliance (URSB, PPDA, URA, NSSF), proof of ownership in the seller’s names or proof of authorisation to sell on behalf of the owner, proof of consent to sell (for family or matrimonial property), certificate of title, current Survey Report, location map and pictures of the land. sd
