The Government of the Republic of Uganda received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Kampala City Roads Rehabilitation Project (KCRRP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for a Project Environmentalist.

The services included under this project are, provision of technical support to KCCA to undertake the Environmental and Social (E&S) Management and Safeguard aspects in accordance with the Bank’s Safeguard Policies and National Laws, Regulations and Guidelines associated with on-going and planned infrastructure development under KCRRP. The implementation period will be 3 years. 

Kampala Capital City Authority now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, etc.).

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Framework, 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at https://www.afdb.org/en/projects-and-operations/procurement/new-procurement-policy.
