Edison is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with 18 years of experience in the public sector. As business development manager at KCCA, Edison has successfully spearheaded the initiation, design and implementation of high impact development projects for Kampala City including the orientation of public policies towards climate smart and sustainable urban development. He has also led various initiatives which have won regional and international recognition for Kampala as a frontrunner city in innovative solutions for sustainable development. Edison holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Economic Policy Management from Makerere University.

She is a Member of the Association of Chattered Certified Accountants of Uganda (ACCA), a member of the institute of Certified Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and also a member of the Project Management Institute.

Before joining PIFUD, Kasana spent 8 years working as a Service & Protocol Officer in the KCCA Public and Corporate Affairs department.

Previously, He has worked as Officer Strategy at KCCA as part of the team working on Statutory and corporate reporting and also doubled as a local consultant for the Knowledge Sharing Program on the e - governance systems study in the GKMA with the Korea Institute for Development Strategy. He has as well been instrumental as part of the task force in the Development of the World Bank Job creation report titled" The role of City Governments in the Economic Development of Greater Kampala" and the Development of The Greater Kampala Economic Development Strategy.
