ACACIA AVENUE CLOSURE

Over the past couple of months, KCCA has worked to improve mobility in Kampala by constructing and upgrading of roads and junctions under Kampala Institutional Infrastructure Development Project (KIIDP 2).

Fairway road junction which is nearing completion is one of these projects.

This is to alert the public that Acacia Avenue will be closed off to traffic on Saturday, 27 August 2016 starting 11pm through Sunday 28 August 2016 to allow for final touches on a 200m section along the road.

The road closure will be at Metropole Hotel – Lower Kololo Terrace junction and the Fairway-Golf Course Junction.

The alternative routes include; Kamwokya through Acacia via Lower Kololo Terrace or Mulago roundabout via Yusuf Lule road.
