2. The Kampala Capital City Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the Supplies, Services and Works as indicated above.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding Procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders.
4. More information regarding the said activities is obtainable from the Procurement and Disposal Unit at Kampala Capital City Authority (City Hall) and also Solicitation Documents Inspection does take place at the address given below in 8(a) from 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. daily during the working week in the course of the Bidding Period.
5. A complete set of Bid Document in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee UGX 100,000= cash to Stanbic Bank, IPS Building. Bidders will only be issued with the bidding documents upon presentation of an original receipt of payment. The documents should be physically collected from the address in No. 8 (a) below effective Friday, 18th May 2012.
6. Pre-bid meetings will be held on the dates indicated in the table above.
7. Bids must be delivered and registered to the address in 8(a) by 10.00a.m on Tuesday, 19th June 2012. All bids must be accompanied with a Bid Security as indicated in the table above, in Uganda Shillings or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives that may choose to attend at the address in 8(b) at 10:30am on Tuesday, 19th June 2012.
