KCCAÂ FC BACKGROUND
Kampala Capital City Authority FC started as a small recreational football team in the city engineer’s department way back in 60’s.
It eventually emerged from a mere recreational (workers’ welfare) team to a competitive football team. In the 70’s it became 2nd division team and in 1974 it was promoted to a super division status.
It was the first team to win the East & Central Club championship in Uganda in 1977 under the management of Coach Bidandi Ssali.
FUNDING
From its inception, KCCA FC has been funded institutionally under the Kampala City Council budget.
Other sources of the funds of the club are the membership contributions as well as wisher’s donations plus gate collections on matches played.
CLUB MANAGEMENT
The club has a constitution which stipulates how it is managed. The constitution provides an executive committee which is responsible for the day to day administration of its affairs.
The current executive of KCCA FC is structured as indicated below:-
